The Department of Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences at NDSU offers all
students an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge that aid in developing a
personal, lifetime wellness concept, and to serve as teachers and leaders of
health, nutrition, dietetics, physical education, recreation, and athletics. The
Department has 19 full-time faculty members including academic program faculty
and Food, Nutrition, and Wellness Extension faculty. The Department offers
Master’s options in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Nutrition Science,
Sport Pedagogy, and Sport and Recreation Management, and an on-line Master’s
program in Dietetics. The Department also provides leadership for the Wellness
