ASSISTANT PROFESSOR /
TENURE TRACK
CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN BERNARDINO
Position: The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a
tenure-track position as a generalist in Kinesiology at the assistant professor
level, effective 1 September 2010.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach courses in the
Kinesiology major. Additionally, the candidate will teach some activity
courses. Scholarly activities are expected. An ability to develop a profile of
extramural funding is desirable. The candidate also will advise students and
serve on department, college and university committees.
Qualifications: Earned degrees (including a Ph.D. or equivalent) in
Kinesiology/Physical Education are required. A documented commitment to
excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level is expected.
College level teaching experience is preferred.
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
