teaching major methods classes in a variety of skill activities; advising
undergraduate students in the physical education concentration; supervising
student teachers; supervising undergraduates in their field experiences; and
advising graduate students with an emphasis in pedagogy. The coordinator will
also assume other teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate or graduate
level in theory and/or activity courses, based on the expertise of the candidate
and the needs of the department.
Additional responsibilities include development of a line of research, writing
grant proposals, and other scholarly activities; active participation in
professional organizations in kinesiology/physical education; assisting the
