Call for Abstracts (Proposals)	For consideration, you must submit an abstract or summary [no more than 500 words] of your proposed program (i.e., an empirical research study, theoretical perspective, trends and issues session, experiential learning session, best practices, or working session). Call for Poindexter Young Scholar Award Papers	For a ninth year, the NAKPEHE Board of Directors has approved an Open Paper Competition to encourage the development of innovative ideas and discussions from the newest members of the profession. Call for Davenport Doctoral Student Award Posters	The National Association for Kinesiology and Physical Education in Higher Education (NAKPEHE) would like to invite doctoral students to submit poster presentations for the 2009 conference in Sarasota, Florida. 2009 Awards	The National Association for Kinesiology and Physical Education in Higher Education invites nominations for its 2009 awards: Distinguished Scholar Award Distinguished Administrator Award Distinguished Service Award Criteria for each award as well as instructions for nominating qualified individuals can be found in the accompanying attachment. Both the nominator and person nominated must be active members of NAKPEHE. Additional membership requirements may be associated with a specific award. The deadline for receipt of nominations is September 5, 2008. All correspondence should be sent to Mike Metzler, NAKPEHE Awards Chair. Click here to download the nomination form.
